WINDING RESISTANCE TEST ON DETECT CURRENT, DETECT LOOSE CONNECTION, AND OPEN-CIRCUITED WINDINGS. THE WINDINGS RESISTANCE OF GENERATOR OR MOTOR WINDINGS ON BOTH ROTORS AND STATORS CAN BE MEASURED WITH THE USE OF A DIGITAL LOW RESISTANCE OHMMETER OR KELVIN BRIDGE.

4.5 DIGIT MICROOHMETER (PE16R)(PRESTIGE)

PROCEDURE:

1.    FOUR PROBES A1(+),B1(+),C1(-),D1(-)

2.    A1(+),B1(+) CONNECTION GIVEN TO V(+) AND I(+) AND P1(+) SIDE.

3.    C1(-), D1(-) CONNECTION GIVEN TO V(-) AND I(-) AND P1(-) SIDE.

4.    MEASURE THE VALUE BEFORE CLEANING AND AFTER CLEANING OF ROTOR.
