WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HT & LT MOTOR

 Depending upon the voltage supply the motors are classied as LT & HT motors. LT motors called low tension motor and HT motor called high tension motor. As per Indian practice motor are classied as followsLT Motor – Motors which work on 230 V, 415 V and 690 V. HT Motor – Motors which work on 3.3 KV, 6.6 KV and 11 KV. As per American/European practice motor are classied as followsLT Motor – Motors which work on 230 V & 415 V. HT Motor – Motors which work on 6.6 KV & 11 KV. Medium Voltage Motor –  Motors which work on 690 V & 3.3 KV
